The color festival you will never forget
Ladies and gentlemen, save the date for 8th July for celebrating Holi (Indian festival of colours) with ICA members. The celebration will take place in KAAP Amsterdam and will transport you to a world, happiness and unique memories. Expect around 100+ young professionals enjoying, dancing and playing colours with you on a scenic beach in Amsterdam.

Expect to be splashed with joy, good tunes, and of course the most beautiful Holi colours (make sure to wear white for the full experience) ! There will be Indian food, henna painting, and other activities that will introduce you to the Indian culture and celebration of Holi. But most of all, it will be an extraordinary summer evening. We will start at 17:00 and continue until late after sunset.
What is Holi?
Holi, the festival of colours is one of the most revered and celebrated festivals of India and it is celebrated in almost every part of the country. The vibrancy of colours is considered to bring in a lot of positivity in our lives . Holi also celebrates the arrival of Spring, a season of joy and hope.
Holi is usually a two-day festival. The ritual starts by people gathering and lighting up the bonfire one day before the day of Holi (Small Holi) and this process symbolizes the triumph of good over the bad. On the day of Holi, people wear white and play with colours and water with their friends and families. In the evening, usually everyone gathers for enjoying festive foods, sweets, and companionship.
